RE: EditMode problem: Can somebody explain THAT to me ...

Hi,
That is exactly what the code does and should do. But, as I tried to explain further down is, that in case I changed the values of some fields which are the categories of the view from where I opened the document, it opens another document when switching to read mode. It is exactly the document that is highlighted in the view, AFTER the first one changed the categories. It is difficult to explain. It seems that the code for EditMode, regardless if formula or LS, does close the document and reopens it from the view. But because of the change in the categories, the document is not there anymore. While changing between read and edit mode, the code does not keep the handel on the document. I need a workaround for this. Unfortunately I can not use uidoc.close, because the [immediate] property does not work either. I am stuck.
